Barbageddon Backyard BBQ Battle Conducted on August 9th

Experience Church today announced the second annual installment of Barbageddon Backyard BBQ Battle, the first barbecue competition in the South Hill area,

"I am excited to see the Northwest BBQ competition grows each year. We are passionate about our community and BBQ. This is a great opportunity to bring the two together for a great cause," said Dennis Cummins, Pastor of Experience Church.

He added, "We know that Backyard BBQ fanatics are always looking for a way to express their knowledge on how to, tips and tricks and it's also a great opportunity to interact with the crowd."

Hosted by Experience Church the event is designed for each BBQ team to assemble their crew and show their magic. There will be four categories to put before the certified judges; ribs, chicken, pork, and the one bite competition. With cash prizes and trophies for bragging rights. They will also be presenting the overall Grand Champion of 2014.

The Northwest BBQ competition is judged by certified BBQ judges and the Grand Champion is awarded $100 with a trophy. $50 and a trophy to the winner and a trophy to the runner up of Ribs and similar for chicken and pulled pork. The community will have an opportunity to get into the fun. With BBQ and dogs, shaved ice, and cotton candy, you won't go hungry. The family will certainly have a great time.
